CAR PARK REGULATIONS

Effective from 16 September 2015. 

The Parking Manager is the local entity „Parking Królewski” with its registered office in Gdańsk, ul. Bł. Ks. Franciszka Rogaczewskiego 55, NIP (Tax Identification Number): 583-27-15-404.

  1. The car park is open 24/7.
  2. By entering the car park, the vehicle user concludes a contract for the rental of a parking space on the terms and conditions set out in these Regulations with the local unit „Parking Królewski” of the parish of Christ the King in Gdańsk (NIP: 583 271 5404) to which payment is made. The rental contract ends upon the vehicle leaving the car park. If the terms and conditions of the car park regulations are not accepted, the vehicle user has no right to use the car park.
  3. Rental of a parking space is possible after first collecting a parking ticket from the entry terminal or on the basis of a purchased parking subscription for the parking area. The parking ticket must be kept, as it is the sole basis for calculating the parking fee when exiting the car park. Collecting a parking ticket constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.
  4. The parking space rental prices and duration are displayed on the ticket machine and in the appendix to these regulations. Payment can be made in banknotes and coins, and the machine gives change in coins.

The charge for a lost parking ticket is 150 PLN.

  1. The parking fee also applies to vehicles used by disabled people and vehicles with a permit to park on public roads.
  2. Proof of payment of the parking fee or season ticket is valid only for the „Parking Królewski”.
  3. There is a 15 km/h speed limit in the car park.
  4. Parking outside designated parking spaces is not permitted.
  5. It is forbidden to consume alcohol, smoke or use open flames, wash or vacuum vehicles, carry out repairs, change fluids or oil, as well as pollute the car park in any way. The car park staff may refuse to admit a vehicle to the car park or release a vehicle from the car park to drivers who are visibly intoxicated.
  6. There is an absolute ban on vehicles carrying any kind of hazardous materials entering the car park.
  7. Liability for damage caused to „Parking Królewski” or third parties while using the car park lies with: the vehicle user, persons accompanying them, or persons authorised by them to drive the vehicle.
  8. The vehicle user is obliged to immediately inform the „Parking Królewski” staff about any damage caused, but no later than before leaving the car park. The vehicle user is obliged to respect road signs and traffic regulations and to follow the instructions of the parking staff. In the event of collisions and road accidents occurring within the car park, the rules of road traffic law shall apply.
  9. The operator of „Parking Królewski” is liable for damage caused by its employees or contractors. The operator of „Parking Królewski” is not liable for damage caused by third parties or for damage resulting from force majeure (i.e. an external event that is impossible to foresee and impossible to prevent). Claims relating to damage occurring in the car park are settled by the car park’s insurer, whose name and address can be obtained from the car park staff.
  10. The car park is open 24/7 and monitored; it is not guarded and does not have security measures against access by unauthorised persons. The car park is lit, fenced and has a block-paved surface.
  11. A season ticket is a permanent commitment by the parking user to pay fees for parking a vehicle in the car park. To obtain a season ticket, the „Parking Season Ticket Application” form must be submitted to the car park staff. The car park manager decides on the granting of the season ticket.
  12. A vehicle user who exceeds the parking time permitted by the type of subscription purchased is required to pay an additional fee according to the price list.
  13. A vehicle left in the Parking Area should be properly secured against automatic (mechanical) movement, fire and damage. A parked vehicle should also have its windows tightly closed so that access to the interior is impossible. The risk of the consequences of failing to secure or improperly securing the vehicle shall be borne by the Parking User. The Parking Manager has the right to remove the vehicle from the parking area in the event of a sudden and justified threat to human life or health or property, as well as if the vehicle is left for purposes other than the rental of a parking space. The costs of removing the vehicle shall be borne by its owner. The parking user shall additionally be charged with the costs of obtaining the vehicle owner's data from CEPiK in the amount provided for in §6 of the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 19.09.2001 on the central vehicle register (Journal of Laws of 2001 No. 106, item 1166 as amended), as well as the costs of court and enforcement proceedings.
  14. Complaints and requests relating to the use of the car park should be submitted in writing to the Car Park Attendant. VAT invoices are issued on the basis of a receipt by the Car Park Attendant.
  15. As part of the Car Park promotion, the first 5 minutes every day, and the first 2 hours on Sundays between 07:00-14:30 and 16:30-19:30, are free of charge.
